Agents of SHIELD's season 1 SkyWard 'ship may never sink.

'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: What Is The ATCU? New Agency Enters The Inhuman Fray

That's the latest news from Brett Dalton (Ward), according to his most recent panel at Chicago's Wizards World convention.

"I'm not sure if that ship will ever sink. I don't know if that candle will ever been blown out," Dalton teased on Saturday.

'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: Ward Has 'Huge Scores To Settle', How Will He Transform Hydra?

Ward's double agent status struck Daisy (Chloe Bennet) particularly hard, and how could it not? The former hacktivist exacted her revenge by launching two bullets into Ward's chest, but even her attempt to kill him has not dampened Ward's affections.

"She shot me," Dalton explained. "I don't know if I would ever shoot her. There you go."

Ah, the unrequited love of a murderous traitor. Every girl's dream.

Daisy, for her part, will be ready to move on as season 3 begins. Now equipped with Earth shaking powers and a team of her own, Skye's life has changed drastically in the last two years. As she takes on her new role as a leader, the Inhuman may have her eye on Lincoln (Luke Mitchell). Lincoln, however, may think that Mack (Henry Simmons), the Secret Warriors co-leader, could have designs on Daisy's affections.

"I think it's really interesting teaming Mack and Daisy because, especially from my character's point of view, Mack's the character who knocked Lincoln out at the end of the [season], and obviously Daisy and Lincoln have a bit of chemistry going on, so it's kind of interesting them heading up this team and potentially trying to recruit my character," Mitchell told Zap2It.
