The Blacklist is getting a makeover for season 3, or at least Liz is.

'The Blacklist' Season 3: New Blacklister Has A Supernatural Name, Episode 4 Title Revealed

Murdering the Attorney General is not a crime the FBI takes lightly, no matter how duplicitous he happens to be. The Cabal has forced Ms. Keen to go off the grid, but her new blond hair and Red's proclivity for bloodshed will make the unlikely pair just a tad conspicuous.

This will bode well for Ressler. Now in charge of the Post Office team, Liz's old partner will be determined to bring the fugitive to justice. As the newest promo shows (see video below), Ressler isn't afraid to bring in the big guns.

"There's two ways this ends - you come out hands raised or we come down guns raised," Ressler warns.

Despite this, the troubled agent will find himself on questionably moral ground when he later aids the falsely accused terrorist.

"Liz will turn to a very unlikely place in her bid to escape, which enrages Ressler, who is very gung-ho about catching his former partner and will go to great lengths to do so, even if it means putting others in danger," Entertainment Weekly reported on Friday. "Twist: Ressler will be forced to save Liz during her escape."

Season 3 will open with "The Troll Farmer" on Oct. 1. The premiere will be followed by "Marvin Gerard", "Eli Machette," "The Djinn," and "Wendigo."

The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
