The most often controversial awards show to air on television has once again arrived -and the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards aren't likely to be any tamer than previous ceremonies.
With Miley Cyrus-who caused a stir at the 2013 awards show when she twerked against Robin Thicke's leg while wearing a nude latex bikini-as host for this year's festivities, anything could quite literally happen. Whether there's more twerking, more rappers bum-rushing the stage to tell other singers , or other huge announcements from music's most royal couple-here are five social media accounts to keep an eye on during the show for the latest updates and reactions to the events:

1. MTV Twitter: Because if anyone is going to keep up-to-the-minute with what happens on stage (and who wins the biggest awards), it's the parent network which hosts the show right?

2. Miley Cyrus Twitter: She may be a bit busy with her hosting duties of course, but her people may update things for her. And it's likely her updates wouldn't be overly censored either-meaning you'd get her thoughts on something expressed exactly how she wants them said.

3. Miley Cyrus Instagram: Come on, celebrities are always taking selfies and capturing the action backstage at Awards shows. It's highly unlikely Cyrus isn't going to be sneaking in some quick backstage fun during commercial breaks.
4. Taylor Swift Twitter: If not the star's own social media accounts, check for #taylorswift or #taylor to trend at some point since she is bound to get up and bust some of her famous dance moves in the audience as others take the stage and perform. And someone is going to make it into a bunch of different GIFs before the night is over.
5. Beyonce Instagram: Because she's Beyonce. She probably won't post anything, but hey, there's been a lot of rumors going around about her and Jay-Z expecting baby No. 2. Maybe she'll be making another Blue Ivy style announcement this year?
