While in Martha's Vineyard for a work trip, the former Real Housewives of New York City star was the victim of a car robbery, which left her with $50,000 less jewelry than she came with. Right away, she reached out to the New York Post in hopes of her belongings being returned.

“It’s all Hermès, Rolex and Cartier. I’m so upset,” Bensimon told Page Six on Sunday.

Bensimon claimed she was in Martha's Vineyard to discuss fintech startup opportunities with an investor.

According to the report, Bensimon had left $50,000 worth of jewelry in a Black Dog tote bag, which was ultimately stolen from investor’s Cadillac Escalade. In the bag were “Hermès bracelets to Cartier tricolor gold bangles to my incredible Daytona watch and Mauboussin diamond ring," all of which Bensimon referred to as "irreplaceable and sentimental."

“It’s devastating. As a single mom, who was on a work trip, it’s particularly upsetting. I was saving these for my girls,” she said.

In addition to spreading news of her stolen jewels on Twitter and Facebook, Bensimon contacted police in Edgartown, Mass., and is offering a reward to anyone who can return the items to her.
