Bay Is Put In The Spotlight On 'Switched At Birth'

On Monday, Marlee Matlin who plays Melody on the ABC Family drama, responded to a Twitter user who asked the actors if they want to be back for a fifth year. It's pretty doubtful that any of them would say no to that, Matlin made it clear that she would love for the series to get a renewal.

Is Bay Getting A New Love Interest On 'Switched At Birth?'

There has been a lot of intensity taking place in just the summer premiere of the series. This included Bay dealing with her broken heart and realizing that it's going to take a while before she feels like her full self again. Plus, Daphne's relationship with Mingo is pretty mediocre as he seems to keep proving that he's not the best guy for her.

Regina found out that Eric technically kidnapped his son from his mother because he felt like it was best for him. Since the mom wasn't a stable person, Eric decided that living with him was the better thing, which took a moment for Regina to understand.

It was also revealed that Lily is the one who's pregnant, making Toby the father. And not only that, but this child has been diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Switched at Birth airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
