Gervais questioned Outlander's proclivity for skirts, wary of having to don one himself.

"We'd put you in a tartan wig. Just bring your own skirt," Heughan joked. "We can pick you up from the bus stop Saturday."

Unfortunately, the deal seemed to fall apart when Outlanders' resident dog frowned up on the decision.

"Sorry, going to have to retract the offer of a cameo," Heughan teased. "Dog had concerns."
