Donald Trump News 2015: The GOP Presidential Hopeful Helped Inspire Kanye West To Run For President? [VIDEO]
Before you know it, everyone in Hollywood is going to make a bid for the White House with the way things are going. There's a new report that says Donald Trump is the reason why Kanye West announced that he is running for President in 2020.
According to Naughty Gossip on Tuesday, even though Kanye's announcement might have sounded like a joke during his speech at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, it looks like he is serious about wanting to be President Yeezy. Kanye said on stage, "As you probably could've guessed, by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president."
A source told the site, "Kanye has had several secret conversations with Trump. He is not joining the Trump ticket but Donald has inspired him to get into politics."

The insider added, "Kanye is serious about this. He will be running in 2020, and until then, he will be learning from the master - Trump."
Right now, Trump is leading in the polls and could very well win the Republican ticket, ahead of other candidates that include Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, and Marco Rubio, among others.
So far, Kanye West has not made any other comments about his Presidential plans.
