She was heartbroken after Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) ended things, and while trying to cope with her devastation, Caroline (Lynsey Godfrey) may have made a huge mistake on The Bold and the Beautiful. 

Caroline Reels From Her Break-Up With Ridge

After checking into a hotel and taking some pills-and drinking, Caroline shared some kisses with Thomas (Pierson Fode), who was comforting her-but things may have gotten even steamier between the two, as a distraught Caroline appears to be regretting something in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Sept. 2 episode, as she sits on her bed and cries while wearing a bathrobe.

If she made a mistake and slept with Thomas, she will be even more confused after Ridge potentially asks to try and explain to her why he can't have a child with her-something he didn't explain earlier when he dumped her.

However, Ridge has come clean to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about why he couldn't be a father to a child with Caroline-because while in Paris, he had a vasectomy. And though Brooke thinks breaking things off was the right move for Ridge to make, she will accuse him of not being honest with Caroline-prompting his potential decision to reconsider things.

"You didn't tell her everything," Brooke says to him in the clip.

"What else is there to say? She wants a family, and I can't give her one," he replies.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
