America's Next Top Model's current cycle is really just getting started with only two model hopefuls getting sent home from the top 14 so far.

What Advantage Does Hadassah Believe She Has Over The Rest On 'America's Next Top Model'?

Teenage contestant Lacey from Arkansas is still part of the competition and actually has an interesting story of how she wound up on America's Next Top Model.

In the interview below that The CW Television Network's YouTube uploaded Tuesday, Lacey revealed she "was scouted on Instagram."

What Does 'America's Next Top Model's 'Little Flower Child' Love Most About Photo Shoots?

She still cannot believe it, sharing, "I was really ecstatic that I got noticed and I was freaking out."

Many of the contestants sent in audition tapes and went to the open casting calls that were held around the United States late last year and earlier this year. Lacey really must have captured the attention of the casting directors since they zeroed in on her via Instagram where there are tons of people trying to launch modeling careers.

Anyway, Lacey revealed she hasn't done much modeling except for little things around Arkansas, but she is hoping being part of Cycle 22 of America's Next Top Model will "launch" her modeling career and "to really learn from Tyra Banks."

Lacey hopes to better her skills on the catwalk, sharing, "I'm a shorter model so I really have to bring it every time I step out onto the runway."

Aside from improving her runway walk, Lacey is looking forward to the photo shoots during the competition. So far she has done great and it looks like in the episode airing tonight, Sept. 2, she will continue to excel. The photo above is a sneak peek from the shoot and it's not retouched since this shoot is all about being completely authentic.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 22 airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
