Those hoping Sophia (Laverne Cox) and Gloria (Selenis Leyva) will make up in season 4 of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black should not hold their breath.

Cox recently spoke with TVGuide.com and put an end to the idea that Sophia and Gloria would be on a clean slate in season 4.

The two prisoners sparred frequently in season 3 because of the behavior of their sons, with the conflict going so far as to land Sophia in solitary confinement.

"I can't imagine," Cox said, when asked about Sophia and Gloria possibly making up. "As a viewer watching, seeing how much remorse Gloria has, I always like to believe there's a potential for forgiveness, but this is pretty bad. This is really, really bad."

But Leyva thinks there is still some hope left for the inmates.

"We don't know what's coming yet ... but they are good people, and you see that individually," Leyva told the publication. "The audience got to see that these women are having conflict. And it's not about a personal attack on each other. It's more about their children, and how they're desperately trying to hold onto some kind of control."

Season 3 explored issues of faith and motherhood throughout its 13 episodes, so it will be interesting to see how this evolves in season 4.

Orange Is the New Black returns in the summer of 2016 for season 4. The first three seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix.
