VH1's "Divas" concert kicks off live Dec. 16, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles but viewers can watch live stream online starting with the red carpet event at 8 p.m. and see all the stars as they arrive for the event.

Among those performing on Sunday night are Miley Cyrus, Ciara, Pitbull, Natasha Bedingfield and Kelly Clarkson, who announced her engagement to talent manager Brandon Blackstock on her Twitter account on Saturday. Clarkson, who won the first season of "American Idol," will perform her latest hit "Catch My Breath." For a full list of performers, click here.

The show plans to pay tribute to Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.

Jordin Sparks, Ledisi and Melanie Fiona will perform in the segment of the show paying homage to the late Houston. The tribute will feature performances of "I'm Every Woman," "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," "It's Not Right, But It's Okay" and "How Will I Know." The tribute to Summer will include performances by Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson and Adam Lambert. They will take the stage to sing Summer's hits songs including "Bad Girls," "I Feel Love," "Last Dance," "She Works Hard for the Money" and "Hot Stuff."

"AI" alum Lambert revealed recently that he will also perform one of Madonna's songs at the event on Sunday, adding to his duties as the show's host. The "proud Madonna fan," whose second studio album "Trespassing" was released in May, did not say which Madonna song in specific he would perform but did not in a VH1 interview he hopes for drama backstage between all the "divas."

"I hope so. And if there is I'm going to gossip about it," he said. "That's my plan. I hope there's a little drama...It would be really entertaining."

The first VH1 "Divas" concert was in 1998 and featured Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin.

Sunday's red carpet event will be live-streamed on the 2012 VH1 Divas website starting at 8 p.m. and will be hosted by Jackie Christie, star of "Basketball Wives LA." To watch the entire show live online at 9 p.m., click here.
