Lady Gaga is very committed to her upcoming American Horror Story debut.

Gaga is set to play a wealthy socialite referred to as The Countess who drinks blood to sustain her looks. Just another day in the life of Gaga, right? Well the pop superstar has taken to her new role in American Horror Story: Hotel very quickly. Perhaps too much so!

American Horror Story boss Ryan Murphy spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently and revealed how much Gaga is willing to do anything on the horror anthology series. For example, she has a foursome scene with Matt Bomer and two other people in the upcoming season that ultimately leads to Gaga's character slashing throats, and she was totally game!

"You write a foursome for her and you expect a lot of questions. She never did that," Murphy said. "She showed up and she was wearing diamond pasties, a Band-Aid on her hoo-ha, heels, and a black veil that Alexander McQueen made for her on the day before his death. Then the crew gasped in delight and we were off!"

Gaga added, "I walked in on my first day and I was like, 'I am going to give all of myself.'"

This is Gaga's first major television role but it looks like she's fitting right in already. The "Bad Romance" singer is known for her outrageous outfits and theatrical performance style, so American Horror Story should fit like a glove. A metallic glove, that is.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
