How Does 5 Seconds of Summer Feel About Winning 'Song of Summer' VMA?

The band surprised the crowd with their first ever performance of new song, "Jet Black Heart," which they recently released from their forthcoming sophomore studio album Sounds Good Feels Good. The song is punk rock perfection and the band clearly had a blast performing it as seen in the snippet they shared on their Twitter below.

A fan that attended the gig took a video of the entire performance of the song, which can be viewed below. Clifford thought the second night at Jones Beach was "amazing" and really hopes the crowd "enjoyed" hearing "Jet Black Heart".

He dished it "felt so good playing it." The band's bassist summed up the night with a single word: "Happy."

We hope 5SOS continues surprising the remaining crowds for their tour with new songs from their upcoming album.
