Liz Keen's freedom hinges on The Blacklist's laundry list of criminals.

'The Blacklist' Season 3: Dembe To Battle The Monstrous Mr Solomon? Hisham Tawfiq Teases New Villain

A former FBI darling, Liz is now No. 1 on the bureaus' most wanted list. In an interesting twist, Liz and Red will continue to hunt Blacklisters despite their fugitive status.

Why, you ask? After a long hiatus of wondering just how the series' signature baddies will fit into season 3, executive producer John Eisendrath has finally revealed the answer.

"We have found opportunities for Red and Liz to convince the FBI that one of the best ways to keep track of them is to assist them in going after certain blacklisters, who Red and Liz are going after in order to exonerate Liz," Eisendrath told TV Line.

This little arrangement probably won't sit to well with Ressler. Now in charge of the post office team, Liz's former partner will be hell bent for leather when it comes to catching the alleged terrorist.

"Ressler is a dogged, by-the-book guy who is going to bring [Liz and Red] in," Eisendrath explained, adding that each member of the task force will have "a very specific point of view" on the matter.

We'll just wait here as the team heads towards an epic implosion.

Find out how Liz, Red, and the FBI will work out their issues when season 3 premieres Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
