Adam Lanza Evidence & Home Search, Computer Equipment Of Newton Shooter Found

When police searched Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza's house they found that the 20-year-old occupied two rooms, one used only for stashing his computer equipment, according to Yahoo! News. 

The discovery in Lanza's 4,000 square-foot home could reveal new details into his motive for killing 26 children at the Sandy Hooks Elementary school in Newton along with teachers and other adults on Friday, Dec. 14. 

"If he visited certain websites, they are going to glean whatever information they can from that and see what it means," a veteran law enforcement source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said. "Does he have friends he communicates with online? Was there a fight with somebody?" 

A dig into Lanza's computer accounts, what websites he visited, who he spoke to in emails and other links could be the turning point in an investigation where many are questioning the shooter's actions and the reason for his rampage on young children.

Lt. J. Paul Vance with the Connecticut State Police told reporters Sunday morning that investigators are scrutinizing the guns Lanza took to the school. He added that "a great deal of evidence" uncovered at Lanza's home is being analyzed and forensic testing is still being conducted.

"You don't know if this kid was put up to this by somebody else," the source said. "You don't know if there was a conspiracy of sorts. You don't know if there wasn't somebody who wasn't goading this kid on." 

Lanza lived with his mother Nancy, whom he shot and killed before making his way to the elementary school on Friday. His older brother, Ryan, works in New York City and his father, Peter, released the following statement Saturday:

"Our family is grieving along with all those who have been affected by this enormous tragedy. No words can truly express how heartbroken we are. We are in a state of disbelief and trying to find whatever answers we can. We too are asking why...Like so many of you, we are saddened, but struggling to make sense of what has transpired."
