Neil (Kristoff St. John) was there for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) when she needed someone and he helped her stay sober, yet now that the roles have reversed it seems like Neil is refusing her help.

Will Marisa's Romance With Noah Last On 'The Young and the Restless'?

It's obvious Neil doesn't have a drinking problem, but he does suffer from wanting to seek vengeance on Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan). That is a plan that is currently in motion actually, yet everyone else is unaware for now.

In the sneak peek for the episode airing today, Sept. 4, Nikki will confront Neil about why he has been avoiding her.

'The Young and the Restless' Got Actress Mishael Morgan A Body Double, But Why?

"Did Victor [Eric Braeden] ask you not to see me anymore?" Nikki asks Neil in the clip below with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) listening closely, which will lead to Neil commenting, "I'm not interested in your version of friendship."

Nikki knows the dark place Neil has been in and she has tried to keep him from doing something horrible, but she has basically failed since Neil is in the midst of getting revenge and she seems to be aware that something is off.

Aside from this, Nikki, Victoria, Victor, Neil and some other Genoa City residents will be involved in the remembrance ceremony for Katherine (Jeanne Cooper and a few other actresses who substituted for her throughout her run on the soap).

In the clip below they will gather at the park, in which a letter from Katherine that Paul (Doug Davidson) is holding will be read.

Also in this episode, Gabriel/Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will bicker about their future as seen in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
