TMZ caught up with Williams Friday, where she said, “Our 17th season returns on September 14th. SO right now they’re wasting their breath. For right now.”

She nodded when asked if they were too sensitive but opted out of answering if she would ever have her as a guest on her popular show.

The singer’s stans came for Williams after she said Grande, “will forever look 12…and I don’t mean that in a good way. I mean that in a…You know it’s nice to look younger than you are. But when you look too young, and then you’re short she’s only like 4’11. I don’t look at her like a woman.”

She said it amid Grande’s now former relationship with Big Sean, who was 26 when they were together. The couple often got flack for their age difference.

The hashtag #CancelWendyWilliamsShow was then created. While it happened nearly a month ago, some of Grande’s fans are still going strong in their efforts to get it taken off the air.
One blasted Williams for “body shaming” Grande as another chimed in and told Grande to “stay strong.”

A third fan called out the former radio host and said she needs to look at her own issues before harping on someone else’s.
