Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are coming under fire for something fans noticed during the Sept. 2 finale of their reality show, Donnie Loves Jenny.

Evan's Birthday Party Doesn't Go As Planned

The episode, which saw McCarthy fretting about giving her son, Evan, an amazing 13th birthday party, only for it to have a major problem when Evan injures himself while sliding down an inflatable slide-seeming to break a finger. However, fans have since criticized the couple, after noticing that the hand he injured appeared to change during the episode.

After his return from the hospital, Evan returned to his party with a sling around his left arm and a bandage on his left hand, after breaking his pinky. However, when the end credits began to roll and he joined his mother and stepfather in their bedroom, the sling disappeared-and his bandage changed to his right hand.

Donnie Wahlberg and NKOTB Revisit Their Past

Naturally fans have since criticized the couple for the change-which now appears to have been an entirely faked situation, with many taking to the show's Facebook page in recent days to knock the couple down for the move.

"Si, I noticed that when Jenny and Evan came back from the hospital, his cast was on the left arm. At the end of the episode when he gets into bed with Donnie and Jenny, his cast is now on the right arm. Makes it really difficult for me to continue touting this show as 'organic.' I expected better from someone like Jenny McCarthy who always seemed like a tell it like it is girl, even if she offended people. I mean, c'mon! #feelinglikeafool," one fan wrote.

"I'm very confused....Evan came home from hospital gets out and left hand and arm in a sling, at the end of show it's the right had that is wrapped all up...if your going to 'add' an injury to make it more dramatic better be consistent with what hand is really hurt!!! Love ur show...questioning integrity..." another said.

"I was a fan until the broken finger incident. I know some things are scripted of course but how do they switch hands and not expect their audience to pick up on it. Disappointed. If there's no explanation given then you've lost a fan," another added.

"So was it Evans left arm or right fingers that got hurt. There is definitely some confusion. Because he had a sling on right in one scene coming home from hospital and a tensor on his right hand in the last scene bringing in balloons with no trouble. Hmm? Sorry love the show but gives fans a real sense of it being fake. Is there a reasonable explanation?" another asked.

Neither Wahlberg nor McCarthy has addressed the controversy yet.
