If you were disappointed the "Twin Theory" didn't pan out on Pretty Little Liars, Marlene King is here to warn you that the story is not yet through.

Pretty Little Liars revealed A's true identity was revealed during the "Summer of Answers," and unlike in Sara Shepard's books, the final twist did not grant Alison a twin (although she did get a new sister).

That, however, does not mean that the series' writers have tabled the "Twin Theory" entirely.

"The story isn't over #twins," showrunner Marlene King informed a curious fan in late August.

There were plenty of questions left unanswered as "Game Over, Charles" came to a close, and King has promised that all will be revealed in time.

"If questions have not been answered or there is a piece of the puzzle that doesn't make sense, then it's still part of the story. #onward," King teased.
