Jackie Christie might have had some pretty bizarre moments on VH1’s Basketball Wives LA but now she’s defending herself after what could have arguably been the craziest and most shocking.

Which ‘BBWLA’ Are Rumored To Be Getting Axed?

Avid viewers can’t forget when Christie got completely livid with James -- enough to spit on her. She has spoken with the network on the incident Friday and had a few things she wanted to clear up.

For starters, unlike her co-stars’ claims, she was not intoxicated when she spit at her co-star and friend during a trip to Santa Barbara. She said after filming with the ladies for years, she knows which direction things will often take.

“I just wanted for us to all come together as a group and have a good time without any misconceptions or preconceived ideas. I just was fed up at that point, so it was kind of like ‘Leave me alone, let’s have fun,’ that’s what I came to do.”

But things quickly took a left turn when James and Brandi Maxiell went head-to-head and nearly sparked an all out brawl with the entire cast. If you ask the ladies, Christie was nowhere to be found when she should have been defending James. Christie got extremely upset when her fellow cast mates, including James, said she was not there for her. That’s when the spitting situation took place.

As far as being labeled the “crazy” one and even getting the nickname “Wacky Jackie,” Christie said it’s all a facade.

“I do get frustrated about things -- to be honest -- it’s ridiculous because for one, to label someone crazy I think that’s an insult to people that might have some type of mental condition. It’s not funny, it’s not cute and it’s not nice. I’m not crazy. I have very good sense. I’m not insane or any of that but that’s kind of what tag has been placed there.”

While she is often the butt of many jokes, she said that she does have close friends when the cameras stop taping like Shaunie O’Neal and Tami Roman.
