There was apparently a report from OK! Magazine where it was claimed that the actress and her gal pal Alicia Cargile are "secretly married." It was said that when Stewart made an appearance at the premiere for her latest film American Ultra, she brought her Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner for a particular reason.

"She may have chosen Taylor to protect a secret: that she recently married her girlfriend, Alicia Cargile," the site wrote.

It was also mentioned that Stewart was overheard saying, "I miss my wife."

It didn't take too long for this rumor to get cleared up. On Wednesday, Gossip Cop found out that this story is not true and there is no secret marriage- nor is there any kind of marriage happening for Stewart and Cargile.

While the two girls are not at that point in their lives, there is still the assumption that they might be dating. Neither of them have confirmed nor denied their alleged romance, but Stewart told Nylon that she doesn't need to define herself.

"If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it," she said. "But I am an actress, man. I live in the f---ing ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don't feel like it would be true for me to be like, 'I'm coming out!' No, I do a job."
