Major buzz continues to circulate over Samsung's upcoming smartphone device, the Galaxy S4. The Korean tech company stated that it has some big announcements coming in the near future, which has further ignited chatter over the reported roll out of its Galaxy S4 smartphone in February.

The news on the device comes seemingly early as Samsung recently launched the phone's last model (Galaxy S3) towards the end of May while rumors revolving around its newest version have been going around for quite some time.

Many online tech sites had speculated that Samsung would reveal the Galaxy S4 at the Consumer Electronics Show January 8-11 in Las Vegas, but such claims have since been denied.

In terms of its specs, the S4's resolution is said to be 1920 x 1080p (441 ppi pixel density), which seems to be a newer trend for the 2013 smartphone market. The Galaxy S4 will also be equipped with a 13MP sensor, 2GB RAM and a 2GHz quad-core processor.

Press Blue previously stated that the S4 will possess a redesigned 5-inch screen, which will surely put the smartphone device in "phablet" territory. Samsung's latest model will also possess a 1080p display, which will give it a 440ppi pixel density. Experts are saying that a display of this quality is even more appealing than Apple, meaning it will be "running circles around the iPhone 5's Retina display."

The Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS from Google is said to be powering the Samsung Galaxy S4, which should give it maximum smartphone capabilities.
