Tahiry Jose might have walked away from VH1’s Love & Hip Hop New York a couple of seasons ago, but she’s still exposing truths on why and even more news about her infamous ex, Joe Budden, who now stars in the network’s latest season of Couples Therapy.

She told BET’s Dose of Reality show that she walked away from Love & Hip Hop New York. But she couldn’t say the same for her former love after he proposed to her on the show.
“Well I quit the beginning of the season… I don’t know I believe Joe was let go I think I’m not sure. I know after I said no…you know I was picked up for another season…You know we started filming and I just thought it was time. It was time to leave. It was time to leave on top. It was just time to do other things.”
Viewers might have been shocked when the rapper made his appearance on Couples Therapy with none other than his on-again-off-again girlfriend Kaylin Garcia. The last time we saw the couple they split and he moved on with Jose on Love & Hip Hop New York the next season. Well now Jose has spilled the goods and said fans are right to be giving Budden and Garcia the side eye.
She revealed that he actually asked her to do the show with him but she turned him down, which led to him asking Garcia.
“I don’t know I guess he did it for the check. He did call me…he should have called me and actually asked me to lend him something if he needed it instead of just going out there and doing it for a check. Go in the booth or something.
"He did reach out and I said I probably would have done it with him. But then I found out three days later…he did it for the check. Me and Joey always have things to talk about.”
