As Kristen Stewart promotes her latest film, she's given positive advice on moving on.

T-Pain Opens Up On Robert Pattinson's Reported Engagement

On Sunday, People posted an interview with the actress as she attended the Toronto International Film Festival where she talked about the movie Equals co-starring Nicholas Hoult. The characters suffer from Switched On Syndrome, which allows them to slowly get in touch with their feelings.

Stewart admitted that if she had to make a decision on taking the hard or easy way out, she made it clear that she's up for the challenge.

Will Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Always Be Tied Together?

"I think the only way to be truly progressive and truly move forward is to not ignore your heart and your feelings," she said.

Considering that Stewart has been making headlines since her Twilight days, this probably thickened her skin- especially since those headlines weren't always in the best light.

The actress dated her former co-star Robert Pattinson, leading them to become one of the most iconic couples in Hollywood. The two ended their romance about three years ago, but the media still likes to find details on where their relationship stands.

When it comes to dealing with negative feelings, Stewart mentioned what usually happens first.

"You go through something a little too hard and the first instinct is always, 'I hate this, I don't want this.' If I could just not feel this way,'" she said.

Luckily for her, it seems like she's gotten past the hard part now that she's found a new place down the journey.
