A new sneak peek of Downton Abbey's final season has been released.

'Downton Abbey' Stars Open Up On 'Consistent Kinds Of Journeys'

The promo became available last Monday as it shows a number of different stories for each character. First of all, there will be horse riding throughout the wilderness along with a court case.

Mary and Edith's sibling drama continues as Mary says her sister is alone, which definitely seems like the case. Edith says she wants to have a life so she might be wallowing in her depression.

Carson and Robert Crawley will have a discussion on how they should be running the castle and if that should include a certain kind of butler.

There's also the matter of Carson and Mrs. Hughes' relationship since the man still has a habit of calling his future wife by her proper name instead of Elsie. But he doesn't want to make a mockery while they're working.

Isobel and the Dowager will have a little bicker, but only one of them can have the last word.

Jim Carter (Carson) previously spoke to BBC about how he felt when filming the last moments came about. He and others clearly let their emotions run.

"It came to an end and they said, 'That's it for the servants, thank you very much,' and I thought someone should say something to the crew," Carter said. "I looked up and saw all their knackered faces and they work so hard and I thought, 'Oh my I'm really going to miss them' and I went...I filled up completely and hopelessly."

Downton Abbey Season 6 premieres in the United States on Sunday, January 3 on PBS.
