Naguib Sawiris, the Egyptian billionaire who recently spoke about buying an island to create a space for refugees, is actually walking his talk.

RT.com reports that Sawiris is actually moving forward with the plan and has spotted two islands in Greece for this purpose.

A statement from Sawiris' communication department revealed that he had "identified two privately owned Greek islands that constitute a good opportunity for the project."

"We have corresponded with the owners and expressed our interest to go into negotiation with them." The statement also clarified that the region would "fall under Greece Jursidiction" even after the purchase.

Sawiris recently tweeted the latest updates about the island:

Previously, Sawiris had raised concerns about the treatment of the refugees -- "The way they are being treated now, they are being treated like cattle" -- and in a recent TV interview urged the governments of Greece and Italy to take note. He asked of them to construct "temporary shelters to house the people, then you start employing the people to build housing, schools, universities, hospitals. And if things improve, whoever wants to go back (to their homeland) goes back."

He followed that up with Sawiris took things a step further by tweeting about how he'd like to buy an island from the said governments.

Sawiris recently also spoke to Newsweek about his plans.

"I sent a letter saying that I need them to provide me permission to take the refugees there and if they have an island to sell, I am a buyer," he said. "It would help me much and what I need from them is the approval to get the refugees there and the administrative support."
