Being the mother of the world's most famous Duchess comes with both it's pros and cons. There's a new report that suggests Kate Middleton's mother Carole is so fed up with being recognized on the street, that she is no longer hitting the stores in London as she prefers to stay in doors and shop online, instead.

According to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Carole is so desperate for anonymity these days that she is doing whatever it takes to protect her privacy and live a life as normal as possible, despite her connection to the British royal family.

A source close to the Royals told the publication, "The Duchess Of Cambridge and her mother Carole Middleton have come up with a bizarre rule about shopping at their favorite department store Peter Jones. They never buy or look at anything! Carole will only buy online to protect her anonymity."

What's more, Carole apparently hates being a fashion icon, as she thinks that fans are watching her every move just like her famous daughter, Kate, who is considered one of the most stylish women in the world.

The site continued, "Carole also tries to avoid picking things up or looking too keen about anything because she is sick of people noting what she likes. It is a trick that she is said to have learned from her daughter Kate, whose every move is watched when she is in the store."

So far, Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the report.
