Manchester United is looking to return to form after failing to pick up three points in its draw versus Swansea City in Sunday's matchup.  The club will host Newcastle United on its home turf in a Boxing Day battle of the Premier League.  When the two sides faced off against one another last season, the outcome ended with a 1-1 tie.

Since they've prevailed in seven out of their last eight games at the Theatre of Dreams, the Red Devils are clearly the favorites in this matchup.  However, the Magpies have shown that they are more than capable of pulling out an upset, but have been defeated in six out of its last eight domestic contests.

United skipper Alex Ferguson will more certainly be making some drastic alterations to his lineup against the Newcastle club, as Darren Fletcher, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez are all slated to start for the Red Devils.

Hernandez has proven himself immensely, currently sporting nine goals during the campaign.   He will undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with for the Newcastle defenders.

While it's still a possibility that Rafael makes his return after missing the matchup versus Swansea with a hamstring injury, Kagawa (knee), Nani and Anderson (both hamstring) are all expected to be on the shelf.

For the Newcastle side, the team will be without the services of Hatem Ben Arfa, Steven Taylor (both hamstring), Ryan Taylor, Dan Gosling (both knee) and Yohan Cabaye (groin).
