Shakira and her boyfriend Gerard Pique are reportedly expecting their first baby in the middle of January, according to a European Union of Association Football (UEFA) report.

The UEFA became the latest organization to spill details about Shakira's delivery date. According to the report, Shakira has changed Pique's life and he considers the pregnancy "beautiful."

"I believe love changes you," Piqué said. "It's a very important part of your life. And when you have it, you see things in a different way than you might have done before. When you're single, you concentrate very much on football and your friends. Now it's about your partner, and there's a baby coming too; so things change and you have to adapt. But I think everything that's happening to me now is beautiful."

Piqué spoke on December 21, at an Awards Ceremony where he was given a silver insignia for his 25 years of membership with the Barcelona.

The powerful couple also announced their plans to make their baby an FC Barcelona member immediately after his birth, according to the UEFA.

"I'm very proud - apart from the fact I didn't take the decision to become a 'socio', because I was only a few days old, but it's true that my grandfather and then my parents made me aware of what it means to be a fan, how to be a Barcelonista, and I'm very proud of that,"

Shakira made public the ultrasound picture of her baby boy earlier this month.

The singer has reportedly been very excited about becoming a mom and has has kept her fans abreast of her pregnancy using her Twitter account. The couple used the social media site to share pictures of the child with the first shot uploaded to the photo sharing website WhoSay.com.

The 35-year-old confirmed the news in September that she is expecting her first child with 25-year-old soccer star.

"Gerard I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" she posted on her official website when she first heard the news. "At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days."
