Sad news for Erica Mena as she revealed she suffered a miscarriage while engaged to rapper Bow Wow.

It’s not clear when the couple had the tragic loss, but they have been adamant when it comes to getting married and starting a family together.

Mena revealed the news in a now deleted post via Instagram.

She wrote in a poem, “So quickly you came into my life, so quickly torn away. Never got the chance to meet you. There’s so much I want to say. Where there once was joy and happiness, is now sadness, guilt, and pain.

"All these thoughts running through my head. It’s enough to drive me insane. Though you lived in me for only 4 months, you were loved so very much. I wish that I could hold you, I long to feel your touch. On that day, my world was ripped from under my feet. I pray that in another life, we get the chance to meet.”

She went on to encourage fans that she’s “speaking on it” to help someone else who has gone through a similar situation. She made it clear, “we are already past all that” and did it with the hopes of giving inspiration to another person, adding that she’s “not ashamed” of it. Mena and Bow Wow have two children between them from previous relationships. But they haven’t kept it a secret that they hope to have a child together in the very near future.
