They feel as though the worst may be over when it comes to the impending apocalypse, but Madison (Kim Dickens), Travis (Cliff Curtis) and their group of survivors will learn that things are still only beginning on Fear the Walking Dead.

Will Travis Or Madison Be Killed Off Before Season One Ends?

The National Guard has arrived in their neighborhood and appeared to eliminate all the threats that were nearby-making everyone think things were better.

"You guys are the lucky ones," the group is told in a preview clip for the Sept. 20 episode.

Loved Ones Succumb To The Disease

However, it will quickly become evident that they aren't as lucky as they're being made to believe-after Madison heads out for a jog and sees destruction, death-and potential new danger on the streets of the neighborhood-something she will confide to Daniel (Ruben Blades) about.

"Tell me what you saw," he says in the clip.

"The infected," Madison replies.

The knowledge they then pick up could put the family and the entire group in danger when the military storms the house-and appears to threaten everyone.

"Take it easy man! He's an old man! It's an old man and a kid," Travis says in the clip.

And it appears Madison's own son becomes a victim when the situation gets out of control.

"Nick! No!" Madison is heard saying in the clip as a body is carted away.

Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
