Abstinent Celebrities: 12 Famous People Who Publically Abstained From Sex Before Marriage (Or Tried To At Least)

There's a new trend in Hollywood and no, this one doesn't include Justin Bieber's latest mom cut or an expensive pair of Yeezy Boosts. We're talking about sex. Or rather, NOT having set until marriage.

Ciara and Russell Wilson are the most recent big names to say they're abstaining from sex before tying the knot. The chart topper and NFL star have publically detaild their vow to not have sex until marriage mostly because of Wilson's strong Christian faith and beliefs.

Back in July, Wilson told the world that he's putting marriage before sex in a special conference he took part in with his pastor at The Rock Church.

"I run into different people and they'll talk to me about their journey and their relationships, so I think that's been really cool and it's a healthy thing," Ciara told E! News in early September. "It's a healthy conversation we all get to have as adults. I'm not sweating it at all."

But Ciara and Wilson aren't the first are only celebrities who've openly taken vows celibacy, here are ten more.

Jessica Simpson
