Nick (David Giuntoli) and Adalind (Claire Coffee) are expecting a child together - the fall out of Adalind's "Blond Ambition" trickery - and Mr. Burkhardt will have shelve some of his revenge as he prepares to become a single father.

"He lost his girlfriend, he lost his mom ... and the baby is kind of the reason for him to keep going," Giuntoli said at San Diego Comic-Con, according to TV Line.

The youngster, whose name is currently unknown, will be born in the season premiere. From the get go, Nick's top priority will be keeping that new life as safe as humanly possible. Considering his legacy and the loss of Adalind's powers, the new parents will have far more to worry about than just baby proofing the house.

"My actions will [now] have repercussions if I go to wild," Giuntoli informed Spoiler TV. "I do fall in love with this kid right away and he's born into a terrible world and a terrible situation."
