When it comes to romance, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney like to have nights in.

On Saturday, Cosmopolitan shared some details on Kinney, including what he likes to do for his pop star fiancee. As it turns out, the actor enjoys spending time in the kitchen to make lovely meals for himself and his future wife.

"To me, the most romantic gesture is a quiet night in with my girl," he said. "I like to cook for her. I'm a meat eater and a griller- I do steaks, I do chicken, I do fish. I have a broad palate!"

Kinney also opened up on getting to a certain point in his life where he figured himself out and started taking the proper direction. Conveniently, he met his fiancee along the way.

"In my 20s, I was figuring out my own life, so it was tough to give someone else my attention," he said. "At 30, I was in a good place with work and I'd met my fiancee. Everything slowed down, and I could be a better partner."

The actor then revealed one random fact about himself- he has a thing for odd socks.

"SpongeBob socks. I'm not very materialistic- I don't have a whole lot of stuff," he said. "But I do always like a pair of really weird socks."

There is no word yet on when Gaga and Kinney officially plan to tie the knot.
