It seems like Robert Pattinson's family is not too thrilled about his engagement.

On Monday, OK! Magazine reported that the people close to the Twilight star are actually glad that things are going so slowly with his wedding to FKA Twigs because they might want him to call off the big day for good.

There have apparently been some rumors saying there might be trouble in paradise for the couple, something Pattinson's family might be happy about.

"News that things aren't going well has been met with relief," a source told the site.

It appears that Pattinson's family may not be fans of Twigs because of the way she presents herself as an artist on stage. They also might want the actor to find someone more like them.

"Rob's family are very polite to Twigs' face [but they're] horrified by her raunchy on-stage persona and her piercings and tattoos," the source said. "They'd prefer to see him with some conservative posh British woman."

Things may have been going alright for Twigs when she spent time with her fiance's family over the holidays, but apparently she can "see through" these people.

If this report is true, then the wedding might be "off the agenda" for now since Twigs "doesn't want to cause a family rift."

"She feels it's best to just bow out of the situation gracefully," the source said.
