While some teams definitely focus on making friends while participating on The Amazing Race, Reporters Kelsey and Joey are solely focused on the finish line-and being the first ones to cross it.

In a pre-race interview with CBS, the dating co-workers from California dished that their main goal was winning the $1 million prize because they could use the money-though they also loved the benefit to get to travel.

"Winning the million bucks is number one, but besides that, getting to travel the world is going to be an incredible experience," Kelsey says. "There's so many things I want to see and I'm excited to get this experience."

However, the two do acknowledge they could have some troubles along the way-especially if Joey's temper flares up at all.

"Joey has a little bit of a temper, he's somebody who speaks his mind, and I think everyone who knows him knows that, that's no secret, that's just how Joey is," Kelsey says. "So, we'll see, I've never been in a situation where Joey has actually really demonstrated that to me. I've seen him do it to other people, so we'll have to see."

"The two of us don't argue a ton," Joey adds. "But I'm sure where we're going to be in situations here...it's stressful."

The Amazing Race season 27 premieres Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
