The other teams may want to win the $1 million for a variety of reasons of their own on The Amazing Race, but brothers Ernest and Jin may actually need the cash to keep their lives going.

The two talked about their financial struggles in a pre-race interview with CBS, talking about their lives in Boston, talking about they each work several jobs and need the money to help get back on their feet.

Kelsey & Joey Call Winning $1 Million Their Top Priority

The two, who are both dancers, aren't shy to admit that the money could help them drastically improve their current situations.

"This money, to us, is basically life. It's everything," Jin says. "It's actually going to help us."

And because the money is so important to them, and the only way to actually get it is to cross the finish line first and be crowned the champions of the season, the two say they won't let other teams successfully find a way to get the money ahead of them.

"We're not going to let nothing get in our way to get this million dollars," Ernest says.

The Amazing Race season 27 premieres Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
