The roller coaster for Will has yet to finish on Nashville.

Is Rayna Going To Be Manipulated By A Singer On 'Nashville?'

On Wednesday, New Now Next shared an interview with Kyle Dean Massey who plays Will's lover Kevin on the ABC drama. The actor opened up on what's next for the two guys after Will publicly came out and what it means for his future. Even though the two managed to keep their romance going, it's still far from perfect.

"I think Kevin is being as supportive as he can [and] trying to lovingly nudge Will to come out of his depression," Massey said. "But at the same time I think he's being sensitive to what [Will has] gone through and how it affects him."

Chatter On Rayna's Love Life On 'Nashville'

The actor then gave the impression that whatever happens to Will and Kevin, it's probably not going to stay perfectly content.

"This is Nashville, so no one wants to watch things that are happy or without conflict," Massey said with a laugh.

Massey added that he hopes Will's coming out on television can help other people in the public eye be able to express who they are while conquering fear of other people's opinions.

"That's the power of television- that it reaches to so many people," the star said. "It has the power to change people's ideas and perceptions of what a country artist is. Just like how I believe gay people on TV in the past made an impact on society at large and their acceptance of gay people in general."

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
