Katy Perry's mother thinks the perfect guy for her daughter is NFL Broncos' quarterback Tim Tebow, according to OK Magazine.

"Katy's mom firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again," the magazine reports, quoting an insider on January 14th.

"In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He’s handsome, charming, intelligent and, above all, a good Christian,” the source says.

Katy Perry's parents are well known conservative Christians and pastors of a church in Huntington Beach, California.

According to the report, they have invited Tim Tebow to speak at their church.

Katy Perry is making headlines after Russell Brand file for divorce last month, just 14 months into their marriage.

The singer has canceled public appearances and in his most recent appearance Brand took off his wedding ring in front of the cameras.
