Kim Zolciak-Biermann had to withdraw from ABC's Dancing With the Stars last night and while her partner Tony Dovolani understands, he is still a bit frustrated.

It was TV Night on Dancing With the Stars last night, with the remaining celebs and their partners dancing to TV themes. But one celeb was not able to perform.

Zolciak-Biermann suffered a mini-stroke shortly after her performance last week, landing her in the hospital for days. Due to the complications of her condition, she was forced to pull out of the competition.

Dovolani spoke with Us Weekly this week about the decision to pull the reality star from the competition.

"I think the producers were fighting until the last minute to keep us in the competition," Dovolani said. "I want to continue so bad it's not even funny. That's why I put a tweet out there saying, 'Bring us back!' The producers want us back, I want to be back, Kim wants to be back - so the only people they needed to convince was the lawyers."

The lawyers made the call to withdraw her from the competition. Dovolani agreed that it was for the best that she be removed, though she was apparently in the process of coming back to full health as Monday night's show approached.

"She did the right thing," Dovolani said. "It's her health and she's got six kids and her husband to think about. I'm really happy for her that she's taking care of herself, but I'm sad to be out of the competition. She was showing signs of improvement!"

Due to Zolciak-Biermann's withdrawal, no other celebs were eliminated last night. The final 10 celebs and their partners will continue as scheduled next week, and one will be eliminated by the end of the night.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
