Avery is about to get a rude awakening on Nashville when Jeff comes to his home.

In a sneak peek released from the ABC series' Twitter page on Tuesday, Jeff knocks on Avery's door to talk to him about Juliette. Of course, Avery isn't the least bit happy to see the man that his wife cheated on him with so he threatens to make this quick or there will be some smacking around.

Jeff tries to stick up for himself, but all Avery can do is grab him and demand that he gets away from his house. So Jeff explains why he's there and it's because Juliette is going through a horrible time despite what Avery may have seen on television.

How Dangerous Will Juliette's Behavior Get On 'Nashville?'

"She's alone and she's scared and she needs you," Jeff says about the country diva.

Avery can't believe he's hearing this since Juliette hasn't made any contact with him even though he's been taking care of their baby. But according to Jeff, it's because she thinks Avery hates her.

Juliette's husband seems to think logically on that part especially since Jeff says that she's "desperate" to see him and their daughter.

"She just doesn't know how to tell you that," Jeff says as the clip comes to a close.

This leaves speculation on what's next for Juliette and Avery, and if they can work things out.

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
