Apparently, Kim Kardashian doesn't know very much about her husband's plans to be the next President of the United States. The reality television star admits to being just as stunned as the rest of the world when Kanye West announced that he is planning to run for President in 2020.

According to Naughty Gossip on Wednesday, Kardashian made the revelation during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres this week. She also said that her husband has a good chance of winning the White House, which would ultimately make her the First Lady of the United States.

When asked about West's surprise announcement, Kim said bluntly, "That was news to me!"

She added, "That wasn't a discussion in our household. I believe he is serious and I know that if he puts his mind to something he'll do his best."

Just recently, West was told to keep his opinions to himself for an upcoming fundraiser for the Democratic party.

According to Page Six on Tuesday, President Barack Obama will be attending the fundraiser in San Francisco on Oct. 10. While it's unsure if Obama and West will be rubbing elbows at the event, the president is making it clear that he doesn't want to hear any advice from Kim Kardashian's husband.

A source said, "There will be restrictions . . . Kanye won't be able to lecture the president about how to run the country."
