Grey's Anatomy is kicking off October with a wild new episode for its 12th season.

Kevin McKidd Would 'Introduce A Long-Running Villainous Character' To 'Grey's Anatomy' If He Were In Shonda Rhimes' Shoes!

In the press release for "Walking Tall" a lot will be happening, including Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) embarking on her first day with her new title (Chief of Surgery).

Bailey will be making a major decision when it comes to a fellow Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital doctor after Dr. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) sheds light on the situation.

Alex & Jo Will Be Integral Parts Of The New 'Grey's Anatomy' Season!

Who will Bailey be making a huge impact on? Well, it's Dr. April Kepner (Sarah Drew). Upon her return from the Middle East she will be a bit ill, which will spark worry from the others in the hospital.

In the sneak peek clip below, April will be changing into her medical gear when Arizona will notice a huge rash that's across her entire back. Arizona will totally freak out too!

"What the hell is that?!" Arizona shouts, adding, "On your back," while pointing at April's back, which causes April to try and get a look at whatever Arizona is carrying on about.

Arizona then breaks out a medical mask to protect herself since it is unclear what April has.

In the next scene April is seen in the isolation unit because of her "stupid rash" as she argues with Bailey and Arizona about getting put in isolation.

"You are completely overreacting," April declares in the clip.

Bailey puts the kibosh on her argument though as she lists every symptom April has.

"We don't know what you have. We don't know how contagious you are," Bailey shares, adding that "there will be no epidemics" on her watch during her very first day as Chief of Surgery.

Aside from April bringing home some kind of illness and struggling to find time to work out her marital problems with Dr. Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams), Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) will be trying to sort out her relationship with Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd).

Grey's Anatomy airs on ABC on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
