Wednesday, September 30 marks the anniversary of the day when Chandler became a national headline in the news after claiming she was in a relationship with Olympic athlete Michael Phelps. It was a scandalous situation when the woman gave a number of interviews with intimate details on what supposedly happened between them even though Phelps, himself, has not confirmed nor denied this.

In a Facebook post, Chandler looked back on how the past year has been for her, which led to losing her career and having to make difficult sacrifices.

"Today is the day that a year ago changed my life forever! It cost me the man I loved, a career I had worked so hard for, privacy, friends and even family," she wrote. "I still can't be an interpreter. No one will hire me as a consultant. The man I thought I loved wasn't even man enough to acknowledge to the world we were together."

Despite her difficulties, Chandler is keeping her head high and awaiting what's next in her future.

"I'm grateful for the freedom I now have to truly be me," she wrote. "I still miss working as an interpreter. I have a new man now and some amazing prospects coming up in the new year as well as a tell all book about my whole life and all the famous people I have dated and the crazy adventures and tragedies that have plagued me since birth."
