Kailyn Lowry Claims Jo Rivera 'Manipulated' Her Into Not Taking Him To Court For Child Support

During tomorrow night's first half of the Teen Mom 2 season six reunion, Lowry and Rivera are seen sitting down with Dr. Drew Pinsky to discuss their ongoing issues, and according to Dr. Pinsky, he's confused about why Rivera isn't working a full-time job.

“I don’t buy it as why you’re not working," Dr. Pinsky tells Rivera in a sneak peek shared by Us Weekly on Wednesday. "They’re asking you for money, and I don’t understand how you afford not to if they need more help and it’s 20 days a month you’re available to work."

Kailyn Lowry Doesn't Feel Her Success Should Get In The Way Of Her Child Support

During season six, Rivera and his pregnant girlfriend, Vee Torres, moved to Delaware so Rivera could be closer to his 6-year-old son with Lowry, Isaac. However, as fans saw on the show, he failed to attend Isaac's graduation, and caused him to miss his final soccer game.

"I've made the case, and spoken to her a million times and said, 'I've never said I'm not willing to help you.' I've never said that once," Rivera said in defense of his actions.

"He just didn't want to go through the system," Lowry added. "We just.. It just didn't come up again. I'm avoiding it."
