Supernatural's Rowena is busy churning out a whole new batch of cunning schemes for season 11.
After centuries of avoiding the Grand Coven, Rowena (Ruth Connell) is no longer hiding - not from the Winchesters, not from Olivette, and certainly not from her son. Book of the Damned in hand, the witch will open the fall run with seemingly limitless opportunities.
"We'll be seeing her in the early parts of the season deciding what she wants to do with this newfound power, and you'll see what kind of success she has with that," executive producer Jeremy Carver explained, according to TV Line. "What makes her an enjoyable character is for all of her power, she's still ruled by a certain amount of hubris."
Will Rowena's character flaw turn fatal? Pride always comes before the fall, after all.
Perhaps there is a chance that Rowena will throw caution to the winds and attempt something far too ambitious. Team Free Will already has their hands full, what between the Darkness and Castiel's (Misha Collins) addled state, but Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will no doubt clear their schedules to catch Rowena if the chance arises.
Catch up with the Scottish villainess when Supernatural returns to The CW on Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. ET.
