Paula Deen has had a very emotional experience thus far on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Deen has persevered through three weeks of Dancing With the Stars and she is still fighting to stay in the competition. The celebrity chef and her partner Louis van Amstel struggled out of the gate and while their scores haven't improved much, Deen's desire to stay has grown stronger.

Deen and van Amstel spoke with Entertainment Tonight after Monday night's episode and spoke about their experience thus far.

"I want Paula to improve each week, that she walks out of this show stronger and happier, and not having to put on a face for any reason other than just being truly happy," van Amstel said. "I love you, Paula Deen."

"I love you too, Louis," Paula replied, tearing up. "Tears are coming out of my mouth!"

Deen also spoke about the musicality on the show and how it makes her emotional.

"It brings out all kinds of emotions in you, and I think that's the power of music," Deen said. "Music can take you to many places ... and Louis has made me talk about some things that I carry around but I don't talk about."

Right now, Deen is in the Final 10 but unfortunately she is at the bottom of the leaderboard. She will need America to pull through for her in order to make it past next Monday's show.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
