Love and hatred will make you do some crazy things, which is exactly what is going on with the residents in Genoa City on The Young and the Restless!

Ian Ward Will Have Genoa City 'In Turmoil' On 'The Young and the Restless' With Gabriel/Adam's Help?

It seems like Neil (Kristoff St. John) is well on his way to getting caught for being the one behind Hilary's (Mishael Morgan) disappearance, but Gwen (Nadine Nicole) seems to be having a change of heart about turning him in to the police according to Soaps.

That situation aside, the hatred Gabriel/Adam (Justin Hartley) has been feeding is reaching its breaking point since Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will slap him in the episode airing today, Oct. 1.

In the sneak peek clip that's below, Chelsea becomes distraught from all of his lies since she'll realize he is at least partially behind the Paragon Project.

"Look at me! We're a family!" Gabriel/Adam declares in the clip, but Chelsea is far beyond done with him as she slaps him and shouts, "Stop it! Stop lying!"

Does this mean they're done with for good?

Other characters in Genoa City will be in distress too as Noah (Robert Adamson) learns Marisa (Sofia Pernas) wound up hospitalized after being attacked. He'll assume it was Luca's (Miles Villanueva) bidding, but Luca will claim he would never hurt Marisa.

"Tell me quickly! I need to see her," Luca demands of Noah in the clip below, but Noah is angry as he holds Luca by his shirt and shouts, "You're not going anywhere! You're going to pay!"

To further add to the chaos in Genoa City, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will learn Ian Ward (Ray Wise) has escaped from prison courtesy of Kevin (Greg Rikaart) as seen in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
