The pair even had a fun time covering love songs pretty recently, which spurred even more dating rumors since they have been super flirty with each other on Twitter in recent months.

The 18-year-old Fifth Harmony member has even been getting guitar lessons from Mendes and in return Mendes has been learning Spanish from her.

Dating rumors aside, Cabello and her bandmates, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei Hamilton and Dinah Jane Hansen, could totally record an awesome song or multiple songs with the 17-year-old. They have a brilliant foundation to make amazing music together after all.

That is not the case though. An insider recently dished to Billboard that Cabello and Mendes are planning a duet.

The title of the impending duet track is unknown, but the insider revealed that Mendes wrote it while touring with Taylor Swift.

It makes us wonder if he played the song for Swift and she suggested having her pal Cabello on it with him.
