New Longmire star Ally Walker recently discussed if she will return for a potential fifth season of the Western.

Walker appeared in season 4 of Longmire as Dr. Donna Sue Monahan, the psychiatrist working with veterans. Will she be back for the show's fifth season?

"I think there is a possibility that I'm going back, and if you watch it, there's a really interesting little cliffhanger that you'll see at the end of this year," Walker told Parade recently. "So I'm pretty sure I'm going back, and we'll see what happens."

Walker also spoke to the theme of second chances that was so prevalent throughout the fourth season, which was released in early September, particularly in how it related to Donna and Walt (Robert Taylor).

"I think second chances is a very important overall arc for all of the characters," Walker said. "I think you see that all of the regulars on the show, are having their second chance. Bailey's character, particularly Walt's, and I think in a little bit of a way I think that Donna is, too. I think that she's devoted to her work and passionate for her work, and I think that maybe Walt gives her a chance to have passion of a different sort. You don't see middle-aged people falling in love unless it's Meryl Streep."

So far there hasn't been an announcement for a fifth season of Longmire, though Walker's responses sound good for its potential.

All four seasons of Longmire are currently available on Netflix.
